Matcha Latte Recipe (Hot or Iced)

Our matcha latte is the perfect way to start your day or enjoy an afternoon pick-me-up. For an iced version: Use cold milk, pour over ice, and skip heating.

You’ll Need:

  • 1 tsp Joe’s Premium Matcha

  • 60ml hot water (approx. 75°C - not boiling)

  • 200ml milk or milk alternative (oat, almond, or dairy all work well)

  • Optional: 1 tsp maple syrup, honey, or vanilla extract for a touch of sweetness

Instructions:

  1. Sift the matcha into a small bowl to remove any clumps.

  2. Add hot water and whisk vigorously (in a zig-zag motion) until smooth and frothy.

  3. Heat and froth your milk (or shake in a jar and microwave for a quick froth).

  4. Pour the milk over your matcha base, holding back foam to top it off.

  5. Sweeten to taste, stir, and enjoy.
