Joe’s Tea Co. launched in 2012 and has since won 37 Great Taste Awards and a loyal tea-loving following. From artisan delis and independent restaurants to premium food halls, Joe’s passionate team, big plans and new blends, mean there’s always another reason to pop the kettle on here at Joe’s Tea.

A bit about Joe…

“It all started back in 2011 with the simple idea of making quality tea accessible while heading up the supply chain at an organic tea company.  I’ve always loved how our culture of tea brings people together so I set about creating a premium, organic tea brand that would reinvent Britain’s favourite hot drink while prioritising taste and ethical provenance. Since then, I’ve been on an incredible journey and am fortunate enough to do something I love with a fantastic team around me. I’m very proud of our achievements and believe there are many more to come, as we continue to focus our efforts on organic farming and the people that support our incredible supply chain.”

Growing tea… ever-so-organically

Joe’s passion for the finest cuppa begins on small organic tea plantations nestled high up in the misty hills of Dyatalawa, Sri Lanka. This is where Joe sources all his tea because, unlike other tea blends, a cup of Joe’s tea is brewed up with 100% organic Ceylon loose tea leaves – for the most outstanding, pure and fresh flavour possible.

Not always one to take the ‘easy route’, Joe’s commitment to only using Ceylon tea means he goes that extra mile to source from – and support – precious plantations that are now a rarity, due to the amount of hands-on effort that goes into their organic farming.
