In this delightfully fragrant and refreshing cocktail two quintessentially British institutions collide to create a cocktail to tickle the tastebuds. The perfect tipple as part of your afternoon tea through to late into the evening.
Pour the gin over a good amount of ice in a tumbler sized glass and top up with the chilled Earl of Grey tea (to chill the tea follow the brewing instructions on the pack and remove the teabags after five to six minutes, allow to cool to room temperature before chilling in the fridge). Add a dash of sugar syrup and a squeeze of lemon to taste. Stir well and garnish with a thinly sliced round of lemon.
